At the top of every article, students will see several buttons that they can use to take different article actions.

Screen_Shot_2018-07-28_at_10.59.09_PM.pngClick the save button to save an article to your Saved By You page. You can get to this page by hovering over your name at the top of the page and selecting Saved By You from the drop-down menu.

Screen_Shot_2018-07-28_at_10.56.37_PM.pngClick the share button to share an article via Google Classroom, Remind, email, Google+, Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest. To share an article with your students, make sure to assign it by clicking the Create Assignment button in addition to any other ways in which you share it.

Note: When sharing an article to Google Classroom, teachers will see options to Create assignment or Make an announcement. Selecting these options creates assignments or announcements only in Google Classroom. To create an assignment in Newsela, click Create Assignment on the article or Text Set page (view instructions here) before sharing to Google Classroom.

^Leveling Button #omit-nav


Click on the leveling button to see and navigate between reading levels. The MAX level is the original version of the article. 

^Activities Panel Button #omit-nav


Click on the Activities Panel button to view the article activities. You'll see a quiz and writing prompt on all articles, and Power Words on some articles.
