Teachers and students can highlight and annotate articles. Teachers can use this ability to customize assignments with annotation conversations initiated by either students or teachers.

How teachers make annotations:

  1. Highlight text. An annotations box will appear.
  2. In the annotations box, select a color and enter your annotation.
  3. Click Share
  4. Click the annotation again to modify, unshare, or delete it. Clicking delete in the annotations box deletes both the highlighting and any annotation text.

Note: Annotations only appear at the reading level at which they are made and shared.
