Learning Objective

Students will be able to make connections between classroom text and modern day scenarios, as evidenced by answering the following Essential Questions:

  • Why do studies of the Holocaust and other genocides still ignite such strong emotions and arguments?
  • How is silence a form of passive participation?
  • Why is it important to exercise remembrance with regard to major events like the Holocaust?
