Newsela Writing: Getting Started
How do teachers and students access Newsela Writing?
Newsela Writing is included with a premium subscription. If your school or district has purchased Newsela Premium licenses, teachers and students will have access to Newsela Writing as part of that license. Teachers and students will need Newsela accounts in order to use Newsela Writing.
For teachers with a premium subscription who need to add their students to Newsela, we recommend following the instructions outlined here.
Teachers with a Newsela Lite account who start a free trial of Newsela Premium will have access to Newsela Writing as part of their free trial as long as it lasts.
Teachers with Newsela Essentials do not have access to Newsela Writing because this licensing is not a premium subject subscription.
